About Peter
Peter is a Partner in HFW’s Aerospace team with 30 years’ experience in the aviation industry, including roles at a defence manufacturer, a Hong Kong airline, and law firms in London, Singapore and Hong Kong. He spent 25 years based in Asia.
A hybrid lawyer, Peter advises across the aviation lifecycle – from market entry and licensing to commercial contracts, contingency planning, incident response, and complex disputes. He leads HFW’s global Aerospace regulatory and commercial disputes practice and supports clients on insurance, liability, and sanctions matters.
Peter has advised on the launch of several airlines in Asia, major aircraft accidents, and disputes involving the Boeing MAX and Russia’s aircraft retention. He is a regular speaker at industry events including Corporate Jet Investor and IATA.
He qualified in England & Wales (1996), and Hong Kong (2003) and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
